Day 10 The Maid of the Monsoon

So today was just a fun day! We headed up to Niagara Falls and crossed into the Canada side because "its better". (just ask a Canadian). We went to the top of the Skylon Tower to see the falls from there. It was so cool to see the falls from way up high. It was also fun to be in the gift shops and see all the Canadian gear. I always think of my mom when I see anything Canadian since she was born there.

Canadian Maple Syrup anyone????

After enjoying the tower and the great view we went to a 4D movie. Now I don't know how many of you have actually been to a 4D movie but its one of those that incorporates touch into the movie. So you feel the wind blow and the ocean, etc. The movie was pretty dumb but the effects were cool. We had fun and everyone jumped when the bats flew into the audience and when the spider stung us.

Ready for the movie! Boyce, Andrea, Sally, Angela, Micah, and Spencer

Finally we headed down to board the "Maid of the Mist". This boat takes you out near the falls. When I did this with the Motab I more appropriately named it the "Maid of the Monsoon" because its much more than mist. We had a blast out there on the boat and it was amazing to see that water going. See the video for a taste of how much fun we had out there!

After the falls, we shopped a bit and then boarded the bus for Mentor, Ohio where we would stay in preparation for our time in Kirtland.
