Good Friends

So most of the time I'm content living in Provo, UT. I love where I live. I love the mountains. I like my job. Things are usually pretty good! The only thing missing is my immediate family. I miss them most over holidays and special occasions. Easter is a time when people get together with their families and celebrate the miracle of the Savior, the Atonement and the Resurrection. Its at times like these that I am eternally grateful for GREAT friends. Suzanne and Cami planned a great Easter dinner and we just had a great time. We did have some silly times together at first while we hunted for Easter Eggs and Easter parcels (they ran out of plastic eggs so they wrapped treats up in napkins). It was VERY fun and hilarious to watch all these professional adults scurrying around the house looking for eggs.

These are some of the Easter parcels and the eggs

We all prepared different parts of dinner and it was quite the spread. I took pictures just to show how pretty our food was. Who says singles can't cook and don't eat well?

Ashley modeled her plate for me since it was so pretty!

It was nice to be together as friends since being with family was not an option. After dinner it was fun to just sit around and chat. Thanks to all of my good friends for allowing me to share Easter with you! You're the greatest.

As a mom, I'm thankful, too, for your good friends who wrap you in love when I can't. Your meal looks FABULOUS! Love you!
