From the pier it got deep pretty quickly. The seascape here was much different than Green Beach. There wasn't as much coral or sea fans here. Immediately we saw starfish on the ocean floor which we hadn't seen before. The fish out here were a bit bigger as well and VERY colorful. Again we were joined by the occasional barracuda but they were small and didn't bother us. We were enjoying the view when all of a sudden I looked out to my left and saw something that excited and frightened me at the same time. It was a jelly fish. I had never seen a jellyfish in the wild before. I was so fascinated that I forgot I should be afraid. I pointed it out to Suzanne who wasn't nearly as excited as I. We steered clear of the jellyfish and kept swimming.
Soon we saw a couple more and decided it might be good to call it a day. We saw the jellyfish as we swam back to our car and just made sure to stay away. As we were climbing out a crab greeted Suz and that was about all she could take. We decided to be done snorkeling for the day and find a different beach to spend the day.
We went to the Caribbean side of the island and spent the afternoon on Blue Beach. It was beautiful and calm and the water was perfect. (I know...I'm sounding redundant).
After a fun afternoon we decided to head back. We had dinner at the Coqui Fire Cafe - a Mexican food place that was on a random corner under a tent. The food was amazing and the service was great.

While eating we found this little friend next to me. Turns out the whole tree behind me is full of these colorful caterpillars. Can you see them in the pic? Click on it to make it bigger and see how many you can find....there are a lot...trust me!
After dinner we headed over to the Biobay for another night there. This time we opted to do a kayak tour instead of the boat tour. We met our group and then drove over to the bay. The mosquitos started ATTACKING US! It was incredible. 4 or 5 mosquitos at a time would attack each of us. It was like they were soldiers in an army. We hurriedly got in our kayaks and out on the water where the mosquitos left us alone. We went on the kayak tour with two other couples. Our guide let us get in the water and we just enjoyed the beautiful night for at least an hour floating around in the glittering water. The second night here was just as cool as the first. Suz and I loved it! God has so many amazing creations on this earth. How cool to experience it on our honeymoon...TWICE!
After the tour we headed to Peter's to get some of that triple chocolate bread pudding....alas they were closed so we went home to another beautiful night at Evamer!
