NO U-TURNS ALLOWED
So as we were driving through Cascade on Sunday evening deciding if we needed to eat and where, we suddenly saw some flashing lights behind us and I pulled over. I had no clue why we were being pulled over. I wasn't speeding and there are no stoplights so I was confused. The policeman was very nice and explained that U-turns aren't allowed in the town of Cascade and I had just made one. Really I had turned left off of the main road and turned around on the side street where apparently u-turns are allowed but Suz discouraged me from arguing with him since he was so nice. We didn't get a ticket and he told us to be sure not to make any more U-turns. Who knew!!!!

That's crazy! Small town - no U turns??? Just another reason why I don't like Cascade! So glad you didn't get a ticket.
were you driving the silver bullet? it's dangerous.
oh my goodness. This brings back not so nice memories of Colorado. Bryan and I both got a ticket (we were driving separate cars) for doing a u-turn at the bottom of a hill! IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT!!!! There was no one coming...and we did it right in front of the officer (who had someone else pulled over) never thinking for one minute that it would be illegal! We were trying to get to a motel so we didn't fall asleep at the wheel. He said "you never know what might be coming over that hill. This is a high traffic area." ummmmm...in the middle of the night, looking into the darkest abyss you have ever seen, I am pretty sure we would have known if a car was coming. We did the u-turn so that we did not get lost in that abyss! None-the-less, don't do a u-turn at the bottom of a hill in Colorado. (we were nice too, but it got us 2 tickets anyway!)
