Baby Kai came not even a week prior to Easter, so Easter this year for us was simple, which was actually really nice. Plus it was fantastic to have Doug and Rinez with us as well. Saturday is when we typically do the fun part of Easter. Here are the kids Saturday morning finding what the Easter Bunny left for them. I daresay, the Easter Bunny is a pretty nice guy...
After the kids discovered their Easter baskets, they got to go out in our backyard and look for eggs.
Sunday is when we tried to focus on the Savior and his resurrection, and the reality of what that means for us. Life would be so sad and so much more hopeless without the gift he gave us, that one day we WILL be reunited with our loved ones. I find so much comfort in that.
Gracie got a new Easter dress Sunday morning.
And that afternoon we enjoyed a wonderful dinner, cooked pretty much entirely by Boyce! Thank you, honey!
This is what Connor does when I ask him to smile! :)
Couldn't resist getting a picture of Grandma with Kai before they took off the next day.
