Eureka Springs

To end our trip we drove to Eureka Springs, AR which is about halfway in between Bentonville and Branson where we had to fly out on Sunday. We stayed at this cute bed and breakfast called the Mount Victoria. It was beautiful and quaint and we loved our comfy room.

Unfortunately the drive combined with some possible food poisoning didn't sit too well with Suzanne and she was sick our first afternoon and night there. By the end of the second day she was feeling better. We walked the streets, toured the shops and the beautiful architecture. We even took a ghost tour of the haunted Crescent Hotel. Despite Suz being sick, we mostly had a good time and relaxed for our last couple days of vacation.

On Sunday we checked out and went to church in Berryville, AR (pronounced Burvul by the locals). We had a hard time finding the building as the GPS first took us to a Community of Christ church and then to a Baptist church. We finally found the LDS church and attended the small branch there. After church we continued on to Branson and flew home to Provo.

In downtown Eureka and out to dinner at Rogue's Manor

By one of the springs and the town square

The crowded and quaint downtown of Eureka Springs

Out to dinner at Ermilio's Italian Restaurant...yummy!

As we were driving around town we saw this huge lookout tower and a sign that said you could go up and lookout. You just had to put a few coins in and you could go in and look out over the Ozarks. It was beautiful!

As you can see it was pretty windy at the top!

We had amazing and yummy breakfasts on the veranda outside our room each morning. Ahhh to live in a bed and breakfast!

We'll miss you Mount Victoria!
