Happy Halloween!

Yay, it's Halloween! Before I was married, I found this holiday strange, annoying, and a little bit stressful. BUT man have I done a 180 since having kids! I have gobbled up every Halloween-y opportunity possible this October, and we have had so much fun! We went to Pumpkinland, Barnyard Boo (already blogged about those two things), and Saturday night went to Riverwoods Shopping Center where they had Pumpkin Parade and Halloween Festival, complete with a little petting zoo, wagon rides, and shop clerks handing out Halloween candy to all of us trick-or-treaters. It didn't take Grace long at all to catch on that all she had to do was go up to someone with candy, smile, and hold out her bucket. :) Pics of that to come later. :)

Then last night we ventured to Lindon where we'd heard about a fantastic neighborhood "Nightmare Express" train that sounded like a hoot. And it was! We waited in line for about an hour, but I would say the little ride was worth it, and it is put on every year by a family and a circle of their friends/family who volunteer. So a big thank you to those guys for putting it on! Gracie enjoyed it (for the most part), and we'll for sure be back next year!

Yesterday we also took an opportunity to get Gracie all dressed up in her witch costume and get some professional pics taken. So here she is, in all her cute glory! Love you Gracie Lou Lou!

Abra-cadabra!

Don't her little legs look fake?!
They told me there was candy up here...

Today we participated in Daddy's school's Halloween parade (Gracie LOVED this). Don't you worry, I WILL be posting pictures of Boyce as Fred Flinstone toting his mini witch around. :) Grace and I also hit up story time at the library where every other pre-schooler in Provo apparently also went (it was SO crowded!) donned in their costumes. LOVE this day, I tell you! Tonight we'll get Grace in costume once again for a bit of trick-or-treating around the neighborhood. Happy Halloween everybody!

So next year you should dress your little guy up as a can of Campbell's soup. . . Just saying! Grace looks adorable by the way!
