Pirates, Princesses, and Dinosaurs!

Just a quick overview of other things we've been up to!

I got to take Grace to the touring Disney Jr. Live "Pirates and Princesses" Show. We had a blast! She got to see Doc McStuffins, Jakey and the Pirates (and a cameo of Peter Pan, which she loved!), Sofia the First, and even Cinderella. I wasn't sure how she would fare in an hour-and-a-half show, but Disney knows their audience and the show kept her riveted pretty much the whole time. About half the time, she got out of her chair to bust a dance move to all the fun songs.

What we didn't know was that even after the show was over we were in for a fun time! Because as we got out of the show, we got caught in a massive, torrential downpour as we walked back to our car. It. Was. Crazy. Thankfully, it was a warm September rain, and Grace had a fantastic time jumping in puddles and marveling at the sounds of lightning and thunder. (For reference, this was the same day the BYU/Texas game was delayed due to bad weather)

We also ventured out to the Museum of Ancient Life at Thanksgiving Point. That place was awesome and Grace loved it! Surprisingly, she even thought the big dinosaur skeleton exhibits were super cool and wanted to keep seeing more of them. Her favorite part, by far though, was the dark room that just looks like you're standing in the middle of the universe with stars and planets surrounding you. We went in there like 4 times. And I have to admit, that part was really neat.

This was her second favorite part. Playing with mini dinos with the other kids.

Here you could dig up dino bones yourself. Grace didn't care much for this. I think my gal might be a little too prissy and wasn't up for getting dirty in the sand. That's my hunch.
We will definitely be going back to the museum! Lots of fun times are to be had there, I can tell! And yes, PS, Connor was with us. He was happy and content just chilling' in the stroller with us.
